These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of PagePanda, an iOS app operated by Mounika Sampathkumar (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using PagePanda, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

1. About PagePanda

PagePanda helps users save, organize, and read articles later.

The app allows users to save articles, add notes, organize content with tags, create highlights, and continue reading saved content.

2. No Account Required

PagePanda does not require users to create an account or sign in.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your own device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and app data stored on your device or synced through iCloud, if enabled.

3. Use of the App

You may use PagePanda for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

You agree not to misuse the app, including but not limited to:

You may add articles, notes, tags, and highlights in PagePanda (“User Content”).

You remain responsible for the content you add to the app. You represent that you have the necessary rights or permissions to save, store, access, and use any content you add to PagePanda.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

5. Article Content and Third-Party Websites

PagePanda may download readable article content from links you save and store that content locally on your device for reading later.

You understand and agree that articles, webpages, images, and other materials may belong to third-party publishers, websites, authors, or other rights holders. PagePanda does not give you ownership of third-party content.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of saved article content complies with applicable laws, website terms, publisher restrictions, copyright rules, and any other rights or obligations that may apply.

PagePanda is not responsible for external websites, article availability, paywalls, broken links, removed content, changed content, inaccurate metadata, or restrictions imposed by third-party websites.

6. Local Storage and iCloud Sync

PagePanda stores app data locally on your device.

If you enable iCloud sync, your PagePanda data may be synced using Apple’s iCloud services according to your device and iCloud settings. iCloud sync is optional and controlled by your Apple/iCloud settings.

We do not operate our own server to store your PagePanda content.

7. Notifications

PagePanda may use local notifications to remind you about reading activity, saved articles, or related app features.

PagePanda does not use server-based push notifications.

You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

8. Photo Library Access

PagePanda may request access to your photo library only for features that allow you to save article images or related images to your own library.

PagePanda does not upload your photo library content to our servers.

You can manage photo library permissions through your device settings.

9. No AI, Analytics, or Crash Reporting

PagePanda does not include AI features.

PagePanda does not use analytics services, tracking events, advertising trackers, or third-party crash reporting SDKs.

10. Purchases, Subscriptions, and One-Time Purchases

PagePanda may offer paid features through subscriptions, one-time purchases, or both.

All purchases are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms, payment rules, and subscription rules.

Subscription pricing, duration, renewal terms, and available purchase options will be shown in the App Store or in the app before purchase.

If a subscription plan includes a free trial in the future, the trial terms will be shown before you start the trial. If no free trial is shown for a plan, then no free trial applies to that plan.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled according to Apple’s subscription cancellation process. You are responsible for managing or cancelling subscriptions through your Apple ID or App Store account settings.

11. Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases, subscriptions, and in-app purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple’s refund policies and processes.

We do not directly process App Store payment refunds.

12. Intellectual Property

PagePanda, including its design, app name, features, interface, graphics, branding, software, and related materials, is owned by Mounika Sampathkumar or licensed to us.

These Terms do not give you ownership of PagePanda or any related intellectual property rights.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from PagePanda unless permitted by law or with our written permission.

14. App Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue PagePanda or any part of the app at any time.

We may add, change, or remove features, including free or paid features.

We are not responsible if the app, any feature, or any saved third-party content becomes unavailable, changes, or does not work as expected.

15. No Warranty

PagePanda is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees that:

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of access, loss of content, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill arising from or related to your use of PagePanda.

Our total liability for any claim related to PagePanda will be limited to the amount you paid for the app or in-app purchase giving rise to the claim, where such limitation is permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under laws that cannot be excluded or limited.

17. Your Responsibility for Backups

Because PagePanda stores data locally on your device and may optionally use iCloud sync, you are responsible for maintaining your own device, Apple ID, iCloud access, backups, and data recovery options.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, iCloud issues, app deletion, operating system issues, user action, or other factors outside our control.

18. Ending Your Use of PagePanda

Since PagePanda does not require an account, you can stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.

Deleting the app may delete locally stored app data from your device. Data synced through iCloud may be managed through your Apple/iCloud settings.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Continued use of PagePanda after the updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of PagePanda shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in competent courts located in Tamil Nadu, India.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws or other laws that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement.
